Dog Anti-Diarrhea and Mucus Aid: Slippery Elm Bark Powder Supplement

Regular price $12.99
Unit price  per

Slippery elm bark, a lesser known natural home remedy, can be helpful in cases of dog loose stool or diarrhea, especially if mucus is present too. Slippery elm bark is known to fight inflammation and protectively coat the stomach, which enables faster recovery from diarrhea episodes. Slippery elm bark is all natural and dog-safe for dogs of all breeds and ages, including puppies.

Like other natural home remedies, you can mix slippery elm bark directly into your dog’s meal or give it separately (about ½ to 1 teaspoon per 20 lbs of body weight) mixed with some water. Since slippery elm bark helps coat the stomach, it should not be fed within 2 hours of administering medication.

Instant improvement

My old pup has colitis. I also use RX Clay and now slippery elm powder. Good combo once a day

Amazing product for our dog!

We loved the slippery elm and 11 blend pre-probiotic for Barks! Consistency is key with our products and our dogs cancer and the team at Dig has been wonderful!

Good product!

It’s not you guys specifically but slippery elm needs to be given at time no other medicines or vitamins are given so it makes bit problematic. Bella is on home cooking and vitamins plus MSM, Chondroitin, glucosamine and a probiotic are given in her meals. Since slippery elm basically coats the stomach, the nutrients won’t be absorbed. For bad diarrhea bouts, I add clay from RX vitamins! Just not practical for now but may revisit this later.

Worked wonders getting Ziggy back on track!

The Slippery Elm Bark powder helped our dog get back on track and feeling like himself faster than ever!

Our dog has a sensitive stomach and loves getting into stuff outside. it would take days for him to get back to normal if he was having diarrhea. We tried giving him Slippery Elm Bark as soon as we saw the first sign of loose stool and he was back to normal in a third of the time!
