Growth & Marketing Associate

Who we are:

We’re working hard to give pet parents a better way to care for their pets and share their concerns with veterinarians.

We believe every pet parent should be able to know how their best friend is feeling, help them be as healthy as possible, and learn how best to get the help they need — before there’s an emergency.

That’s why we built an accessible, on-demand app that creates an instant dialogue with our pets, and keeps that important conversation going.

What's the Role?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Growth & Marketing Associate to work with us as we turbocharge our go-to-market efforts by running growth experiments and creating smart content that resonates with pet parents. This is a person who lives and breathes marketing, is analytically-minded, and passionate about giving a voice to animals.

Our three company near-term goals include:

  1. Develop and implement a Pre-Seed to Seed go-to-market and launch strategy that achieves Product/Market fit
  2. Develop an expert understanding of the DIG Labs App, use cases, consumer value perception, and the markets in which we compete — in service of identifying winning market positioning & messaging strategies
  3. Conduct user interviews/research and redefine our view of the competitive landscape to influence decisions regarding the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy

The core responsibilities:

We’re an early stage startup so everyone enjoys wearing multiple hats. With that, the key responsibilities for the Growth & Marketing Associate will include:

  • Collaborate closely with the founders on finding Product/Market fit through marketing experiments, content creation, and user research
    • Own the execution of 1-2 growth experiments end-to-end (e.g., SEO)
    • Support additional marketing experiments being conducted (e.g., earned PR, partnerships, social, etc.)
  • Empathize with early users and seek to understand how the DIG Labs Health App can provide the most value to them
  • Analyze data, create visualizations, and craft impactful stories showing thought leadership and point-of-view on results
  • Work closely with founders to manage and execute organic channel content needs ad hoc, including website, blog, CRM/Klaviyo, Medium, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
    • Coordinate content and editorial content planning and execution
    • Coordinating with contractors to fill the gaps in our marketing needs

The ideal candidate:

  • Passionate about experimenting and get an adrenaline rush when you breakthrough
  • Interested in digital marketing and B2C Apps
  • Experience copywriting and finding different ways to simplify and communicate complicated ideas
  • Equally love working on small details as you do talking about the big-picture
  • Are able to operate independently and self-organize
  • Can’t live without your pet(s) and want to improve their healthcare options!

Details:

  • NY Tri-state area preferred; open to Remote
  • Dog-friendly office
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, including unlimited vacation
  • Will report to the COO

Product Designer

What's the Role:

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team as our first Product hire. In this role, you’ll take a multidisciplinary approach towards understanding our customer base, identifying and filling product gaps that improve their experience and drive growth. Our ideal candidate has played a key role in all phases of the design processes and is eager to build a holistic process from the ground up.

You will:

  • Deeply understand and define our users’ needs
  • Identify where we’re falling short in fulfilling those needs
  • Thoughtfully design and propose end-to-end product solutions
  • Analyze the efficacy of those solutions

  • Lead user experience research initiatives to better understand user behaviors, pain points, and needs
  • Identify product improvement opportunities based on user behavior
  • Design simple, data-driven experiences to solve for any UX issues and lead prototype testing
  • Revise existing designs and flows to meet changing user preferences
  • Ensure that designs actually solve the problem we set out to solve, and if not, proactively drive necessary improvements
  • Help maintain visual consistency among all products and features and own the brand's design system
  • Help shape the product strategy and vision
  • Create original graphic designs

The ideal candidate:

  • Acutely aware of how your work impacts the user, and ultimately the business
  • Someone who asks a lot of questions, always trying to get to the heart of an issue
  • Comfortable designing, building, and testing in an iterative way
  • Put the user at the center of conversations. We’ve got lots of great ideas to improve our offerings, but they can’t all happen at once!

  • See the beauty in simplicity
  • Knowledge of frontend technology and appreciation for the backend to work integratively with Engineering
  • Want to instill a design culture in the company as a whole
  • Loves pets!
